We have several different volunteer opportunities that you may enjoy being part of and that would help bring a smile to others!

Card Committee: Help get cards signed and full of signatures for cards to go to persons living in nursing facilities in Highland County and for the Veterans Home in Georgetown.  We send cards out for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Summer, Fall, Veteran’s Day and Christmas. We have several members at the center to help sign the cards too. Volunteers would be sure to help pass the several hundreds of cards around to be signed.

Events: We have many different fundraising events that we need help with! Whether it’s greeting people at an event, serving tables for a dinner or working with an activity at an event, or helping fold newsletters we have many different things to choose from that are all important and a big help to the center! We have volunteer opportunities for students and adults of all ages! Please call the director for detailed information at 393-4745, Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Student volunteer opportunities: We have many volunteer opportunities available to high school and college students working toward achieving volunteer hours needed to complete programs. We need volunteers for helping at our many fundraising events for various things such as running games, craft activities, Easter Egg hunts, Reindeer food elevators, servers for dinner events, helping with characters for our Pancake Extravaganza with the Easter Bunny event, Cookies with Characters event, Halloween Party and Haunted House event, Breakfast with Santa event and much more!
