Our goal is to continue an event with a wide variety of resources that seniors and their families are looking for- all in one place, all at one time. Your business is an important resource that our seniors are looking for. We'll provide you with an 8' table for you to create a booth to remember, but most importantly, you'll have an opportunity to establish working relationships with seniors and their families in order to help guide them to the resources they need. We had 203 guests from the public attend this event in 2023 from Highland and surrounding counties, and 48 businesses participated. Before The Doors Open We'll go Facebook live on our Facebook page (3.5k followers) and allow each business to briefly introduce themselves. These videos get thousands of views. During The Event While engaging with your audience, we'll have some fun with costume contests, live music, billiards tournaments, and more. For the event, businesses bring a decorated pumpkin that the public votes on. Businesses will also get to take the event's stage to briefly introduce themselves to all our guests and to announce the winner of their raffle prize winner. All proceeds benefit the operation of the Highland County Senior Citizens Center, a 501(C)(3) non-profit and non-government funded organization. One business per booth. List of REQUIREMENTS for Businesses to Participate:
● One vendor per booth
● Set-up no later than 9:15 a.m. day of event and booths must stay up until 2:00 p.m.
- You can set up the day before on Monday, September 30th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
● Bring a free raffle item of $15 value for guests to sign-up for at your booth. You may draw the winner on our stage, where you can briefly introduce yourself/business. This will happen the last hour of the event. Please provide tickets and a pen to sign-up folks at your booth.
● Bring a Bingo prize of $15 value with your business info attached. Business Bingo is for guests after the expo. You are
welcome to call bingo if interested but not required to stay.
● Bring a decorated pumpkin for the event’s stage for guests to vote on. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded and featured in our newsletter.
You may also come to this event in costume, it’s not required but it’s fun!
