Healthy U: A Small Group Workshop
Heartland of Hillsboro and Heartland Home Health & Hospice are leading a 6 week workshop at the Center about how to manage chronic diseases such as as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease or other life-ling conditions. Volunteer Opportunities – Support Your Center
Our membership drive is during the months of October and November. A membership drive meeting will be held on Monday, October 15th at 9:00am at the Center to form a membership committee and teams to discuss ways to increase membership for 2013. The Highland County Health Department Care-a-Van is in the Center parking lot on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 9:00am to noon. Services Offered Assessment / Screening Blood Pressure Cholesterol Level – $10.00 fee Hemoglobin (iron) Level Lipid Profile - $30.00 fee - Requires a 12 hour fasting (no food or drink) Diabetes Screening - Requires a 2 hour
